The TSMaster 2026.02 software update has arrived as scheduled, bringing you stronger simulation capabilities, more efficient test management, more precise hardware synchronization, and a smoother development experience. This month’s update focuses on real pain points in automotive electronics development, covering upgrades to Model Block Diagram (MBD) capabilities, refined LIN RBS simulation control, callback function performance monitoring, full lifecycle management upgrades for test cases in the Classic Test System, new device time synchronization features, and new API releases. Every new feature is designed to help engineers break through efficiency bottlenecks and accelerate product delivery.
Design
New Lookup Table Component for Model Block Diagram (MBD)
→ Design › Model Block Diagram
Update: New 1-D/2-D/3-D lookup table components have been added, enabling efficient and intuitive mapping of multi-dimensional data. The 1-D lookup table handles linear/non-linear mapping for a single variable, while the 2-D/3-D lookup tables meet the complex data modeling needs of multi-factor coupling. These have been deeply optimized for typical scenarios in automotive electronics development such as engine characteristic simulation, body control parameter mapping, and sensor data fitting.

Note: Offers dual-source configuration of breakpoints and table data, with visual editing, and supports dynamic size adjustment.

Note: The algorithm configuration supports multiple interpolation and extrapolation methods, and supports lookup methods such as binary search, linear search, and equidistant points, along with fine-grained input and diagnostic configuration.

Note: Breakpoint/table data types can be customized or use the Inherit mechanism, allowing precision to be specified as needed. Configuration priority and data type constraints adapt to complex engineering logic, while also allowing upfront control over exceptions such as system overflow.

Simulation
Activation and Deactivation of LIN RBS Runtime Messages
→ Simulation › LIN Bus Simulation
Update: When running the LIN RBS function, the activation state of message sending can now be controlled in a fine-grained, dynamic way. This update marks an evolution of TSMaster’s LIN simulation from “static scenario playback” to “dynamic interactive simulation.” It enables simulating slave node failures or changes to the master node’s scheduling strategy to verify an ECU’s fault diagnosis and fault-tolerance mechanisms, and precisely simulating local network wake-up and sleep processes to verify an ECU’s low-power management logic, meeting dynamic simulation needs such as fault simulation, boundary testing, operating condition switching, and network management verification.
Note: The LIN hardware firmware must be updated to version V0.1 2026-02-10 or later. The results are shown in the images below.
When the master node’s 0x02 message is deactivated, a system message indicates that the message properties have changed, and the LIN message window shows that 0x02 is no longer being sent.
Note: After simulating the deactivation of the slave node’s 0x03 message, a system message indicates that the message properties have changed, and the master node shows that there is no response from the slave node.

Engineering
Callback Function Detection Control
→ Engineering › Project Settings
Update: A new control button for callback function performance detection has been added, useful across various debugging and runtime scenarios. In automated simulation scenarios, for timer events and message sending/receiving/preprocessing events, users should exit the event immediately after completing the necessary tasks inside it; waiting too long inside the event will affect the overall simulation result. This monitoring function has therefore been added. After completing script development and running it, if you see this alert, be sure to carefully check the implementation inside the corresponding event function and avoid calling functions such as wait. If a wait call is truly necessary, it can be resolved using approaches such as multi-threaded asynchronous logic.
Note: Currently, the offline flashing tool is only available as the single-channel CAN FD/CAN TF1011 (a 4-channel version is still in development). The TF1011 supports configuring three download workflows simultaneously, switchable via a button.

Testing
→ Testing › Classic Test System
Test Case Compilation Update
Update: A termination function has been added during test case compilation, optimized for scenarios such as compiling large batches of test cases or handling compilation errors in complex cases, preventing complex test case compilation from getting stuck in long waits.

Copy and Paste Test Case Naming
Update: After copying a test case and pasting it within the same test group, the test case is automatically renamed by appending “_1” to the original name.

Same-Name Test Group Merge Function
Update: When a test case group’s name is changed to match an existing group name, a merge confirmation is automatically triggered. This feature solves the pain points of scattered same-name groups and cumbersome test case consolidation in traditional test case groups, supporting the consolidation of test cases from different batches and scenarios into the same test group for streamlined test case management.

Reuse Test Cases
Update: After creating a test case reference, it links to the target test case for redundancy-free reuse. Once linked, the test case name displays its linked status, shown as “Test Case Reference1->Test_Case_2” in the image. This implements “inheritance” and “polymorphism” for test logic. All referencing test cases point to the same base test case, and when the base test case is modified, all referencing test cases update in sync, fundamentally solving the problems of test case redundancy and version inconsistency. Reuse efficiency is greatly improved, especially useful for scenarios that require heavy reuse of base test cases, such as full-vehicle bus testing and multi-ECU integration testing.

Load/Export Test Case Sets
Update: New export and import functions for test case sets have been added, using the .TestPack file extension. This feature overcomes the limitations of traditional local projects, letting engineers export a debugged test case set as a standalone file and move it between different projects and test benches. It also supports importing externally standardized test case sets into a local project, enabling sharing and reuse of test cases.

Overwrite Option When Loading Test Cases
Update: When loading a test case, you can choose to overwrite or merge test case sets with the same name, as shown in the images below. TSMaster offers both merge and overwrite options, and supports a customizable “automatically merge test groups when loading test case sets” setting, adapting to the needs of test case set consolidation across different testing scenarios. The automatic test group merging option also further improves efficiency when loading large numbers of test case sets.

Hardware
Device Time Synchronization Support
→ Hardware › Channel Selection
Example: On the hardware side, two TC1038 Pro units and one TSync01 unit need to be connected for hardware synchronization.
Software side:
Update: Supports hardware-level time synchronization across multiple devices, achieving microsecond-level synchronization precision. For scenarios such as multi-bus integration in automotive electronics, real-vehicle data acquisition, and multi-ECU synchronized testing, an integrated hardware-plus-software configuration approach builds a high-precision distributed test system, providing a high-precision timing reference for advanced applications such as full-vehicle network communication analysis, cross-domain controller collaborative logic verification, and multi-sensor data fusion testing for autonomous driving.

API Update
C Mini-Program API
app.transmit_lin_wakeup_async(): Sets the LIN bus to sequentially send a group of wake-up frames.

app.transmit_lin_gotosleep_async(): Asynchronously sends a sleep command to the LIN channel.
