TOSUN Technology at Automotive Testing Expo China 2026: Dr. Jinpeng Xu to Present Latest AI Engineering Advances

Presentation Title: Checkable Models: An AI Engineering Method for Automotive Testing

Speaker: Dr. Jinpeng Xu, R&D Director, TOSUN Technology

Date & Time: August 27, 2026 | 14:00 – 14:25

Location: Technology Presentation Stage (Booth #3100), Hall 1, Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center

Abstract

This presentation introduces the concept of “Checkable Models”—an approach that ensures a unified system logic remains executable, verifiable, and reviewable across all development stages. The method follows a three-step workflow:

  1. AI Drafting: AI generates initial Textual Architecture Description (TAD) specifications.
  2. Automated Verification: Dedicated tools perform parsing, type checking, semantic validation, and model execution based on predefined criteria.
  3. Engineer Sign-off: Engineers validate critical parameters, including thresholds, priority, observation windows, and acceptance criteria.

The presentation will feature a live case study of a 10 ms power window anti-pinch system, demonstrating the complete transition from natural language requirements to TAD, real model architecture, and model-level scenarios covering system states, priority, timing, and reset behaviors.

Key Takeaways

  • Learn how a unified control intent diverges across requirements, models, software, and testing, and explore the five dimensions that verifiable models must simultaneously define: input, state, timing, output, and criteria.
  • Master the division of labor among AI, tools, and engineers: AI drafts TADs, tools perform deterministic checks and execute criteria, while engineers maintain boundary control and final sign-off.
  • Three practical strategies: explicitly define input, state, timing, output, and criteria upfront; leverage TADs to connect requirements, models, and tools; and streamline the workflow where AI drafts, tools check and execute, and engineers sign off.
